History
This historic brick warehouse was built in 1913. Over the years, it housed a farm implement factory, a Studebaker Packard showroom, and Shafer Refrigeration. Most recently Architectural Antiques used the building as its showcase of artifacts from the past.
Architectural Design
The design of the loft renovation is by Garth Rockcastle of MS&R Architects. Beginning with the premise that the most important characteristics of a loft are space and light, the renovated building has a dramatic three-story atrium creating an "interior street" filled with daylight.
