North and slightly west
of Minneapolis on the western side of the Mississippi, Brooklyn Park
still has plenty of room for expansion. Urban renewal, rental
restoration, community programs for getting people gainfully
employed, etc. have turned that around, so crime is now on the
downswing. About 35% of Brooklyn Park has yet to be developed

trail system for hikers and bikers and hundreds of local
recreational programs..
It is also home to "Edinburgh USA", one of the nation's top 50
public golf courses. So, you'll never run out of fun things to do in
this beautiful community.
Brookdale Mall is one of the major
malls in the Twin Cities and is located in nearby Brooklyn Center;
there are also abundant stores and restaurants along the main drag,
Brooklyn Blvd.
There is industry here too.
Manufacturers in the city produce everything from books to computers
to specialized office copiers that blow up documents to
courtroom-exhibit size to earth-moving equipment.
